Aprilyn and Michael are professional animators that met on a show called "DC Super Hero Girls" at Warner Bros. Animation in 2019. He was a retakes animator and she was a background painter. It was love at first sight for Aprilyn and they stayed friends for a couple of years before dating during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now engaged themselves, they've combined their skills to create a wedding art business to make other couples' special day memorable.
Aprilyn Cunanan is an atelier-trained traditional and digital painter and moonlights as a professional background artist and visual development artist in TV, feature and indie animation. She has a B.F.A in Animation and a minor in lllustration and has worked over 8+ years in the industry and painted for clients such as Warner Bros., Netflix, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Shadow Machine and Studio Yotta.
When not in a professional studio capacity, Aprilyn also runs her small art business, Poppy Inu Co., a cozy cotton goods artisan designer brand inspired by the beauty of the desert and the wild native plant life found in California.

Michael Nanna is a professional animator with over 13+ years of experience in tv and indie animation and a B.F.A from the Kansas City Art Institute. He's had clients in western animation such as Warner Bros., A24, Nickelodeon, Disney XD as well as Japanese animation studio clients such as Production I.G, Toei Animation and Studio Mappa.
When not in a professional studio setting, Michael is often working on his own hand-animated, on-paper personal films.
